The Autumn Forager - Wild Foraging Course £250

Autumn is a time of year that is often overlooked, but it is an excellent time for wild edibles and enjoying a foraging course in Sussex woodland. Come and enjoy this beautiful and bountiful moment in the annual cycle of a wild, diverse and plentiful forest.

Join other like-minded people on our foraging course - with many travelling from London, Surrey, Hampshire, Kent and across the UK to take part.

Join our in-depth foraging courses that look at the wild food our ancestors had to gather before farming and how they prepared for the perils of winter.

Wild plants, wild berries, roots, nuts and fish make up the core of this two-day course. In our foraging courses, we look at preparing a wide range of foods following methods straight out of prehistory.

These foraging courses are adult-only.

Reviews

I've completed a variety of courses with Phil now. The level 3 bushcraft award, the bow-making workshop, arrow arrow-making workshop, the level 4 applied bushcraft award, and the level 4 bowmaking. The simple reason that I keep coming back for more is that Phil is one of the best instructors in the industry. And that's because, firstly, he is a full-time professional bowyer and a Woodsman of many years of experience. And secondly, I think even more importantly, he has an incredible knack for enabling you to download his skills and experience. I can't recommend Phil and his team enough to anyone with an interest in bushcraft and wilderness survival skills, ethnobotany, green woodworking, deer butchery, wild food or bow and arrow making. It's been such a pleasure to learn from Phil over the last couple of years and I'm looking forward to more upcoming courses! Massive thanks!
