Please read carefully before making a purchase. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. How to Purchase

Making a purchase is simple: browse our store and add items to your shopping cart. Click 'Checkout' when finished and provide the requested details. Confirmation of order indicates we have received your order.

We reserve the right not to fulfill an order to protect against under-pricing, supply issues, suspected fraud, or similar reasons.

2. Order Confirmation

Once confirmed, your order is subject to these Terms & Conditions. Digital acceptance (via checkout, BACS, PayPal, or email confirmation) constitutes a binding contract.

3. Deposits

All deposits are non-refundable. Deposits cover administrative effort, preparation, and materials. Please be sure before purchasing, especially for bespoke items, as we cannot reclaim lost time.

4. Cancellations & Returns – Consumer Rights

• Standard goods: You may cancel your order within 14 working days of receipt under Consumer Contracts Regulations.

• Exempt items: Goods made to your specifications, custom bows, bowstrings, arrow shafts cut to length, or other modified products cannot be returned once processing begins.

Cancellation Procedure:

1. Notify us by email or written statement within 14 days of delivery.

2. Return goods at your cost, in original packaging, with appropriate insurance and traceability.

3. Refunds (minus any additional shipping costs beyond standard delivery) will be processed within 30 days.

4. Deduction may be applied if goods have lost value due to unnecessary handling.

5. Warranty & Faulty Products

1. Contact us before returning any faulty goods.

2. We will provide instructions for return, including shipping and confirmation.

3. Items must be packaged safely and shipped with insurance and traceability.

4. Refunds or warranty replacements will be handled within 30 days, following manufacturer guidelines.

Important: International orders – all shipping costs to return items or receive replacements are the buyer’s responsibility. Check local duties and taxes before ordering.

6. Staves & Custom Items

• All staves are carefully selected and prepared. We cannot be held liable for breakages during crafting.

• If an unseen fault is discovered, return the stave for assessment; replacement will be provided if warranted. Postage is the customer’s responsibility.

7. International Orders

• You are responsible for shipping costs, import duties, and local taxes.

• Some manufacturers require returns to the place of purchase. Contact us before shipping any items internationally.

8. Courier & Shipping Insurance

• We strongly recommend adding insurance via our chosen reputable couriers (TNT, FedEx).

• We cannot be held liable for loss or damage during transit if insurance is not purchased.

9. Lead Times

• Lead times are estimates and may vary due to material availability, production demand, national or international disruptions, or unforeseen events.

• We strive to complete orders within the advertised lead time but cannot guarantee delivery dates.

10. Liability

• Phil Brooke Longbows is not responsible for loss or damage to personal property, including vehicles, money, clothing, or equipment.

• Participation in bespoke or outdoor activities is at your own risk.

11. Digital Orders Agreement

By completing an online checkout, you confirm that:

• You have read and accept these Terms & Conditions.

• You understand your rights and obligations regarding cancellations, deposits, and returns.

• You accept responsibility for selecting correct shipping options and insuring your order where recommended.
