Please read carefully before booking. Booking a course constitutes agreement to all the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Agreement

• Receipt and clearance of full payment or non-refundable deposit secures your booking.

• The person named on the booking is the participant unless a legally recognised agent attends on their behalf.

• Phil Brooke reserves the right to refuse bookings without reason; payments will be returned in such cases.

• Booking constitutes agreement to all Terms and Conditions, including the cancellation policy.

2. Payment of UK Courses

• General Courses: Non-refundable deposit required at booking. Remaining balance due no later than 8 weeks before course start. Bookings within 8 weeks must be paid in full.

• Long-Term Courses: Courses requiring regular attendance over several months may have remaining fees paid monthly. Details sent with course information.

• Deposits cover administrative costs, preparation, and materials.

3. Cancellation of Course

• Deposits are non refundable due to course costs that include admin, materials, catering, and specialist preparation.

• Cancellation within 12 - 8 weeks before course start: 50% of course cost payable.

• Cancellation within 8 weeks before course start: 100% of course cost payable.

• Cancellations must be emailed in writing.

• Transfers to another course only at Phil Brooke’s discretion and will incur an administration fee in the form of the course deposit. This is to cover, admin, materials and catering costs and the considerable amount of time and effect it takes to organise specailist course's.

• Where possible, if we can resell your place, a refund may be considered.

4. Insurance

• Participants are advised to obtain personal travel/cancellation insurance, we strongly advise our clients to investigate this further.

5. Minimum Participant Numbers

• Courses may be cancelled or rescheduled if minimum numbers are not met; full refund or transfer offered.

6. Variation of the Course

• Courses may be altered due to natural variables (weather, terrain, etc.).

• Phil Brooke is not liable for any losses due to necessary changes in course content or itinerary.

7. Client Conduct

• Participants must behave reasonably and follow all instructions.

• Grounds for removal without refund include intoxication, drug use, abusive behaviour, inability to meet course rigours, or lack of suitable equipment.

• Parents/guardians must ensure safe control of children under their care.

• Any costs arising from removal are payable by the client.

8. Safety and Risk

• Activities involve sharp tools, firearms (if applicable), and natural environments.

• Participants accept inherent risks and must follow all safety instructions.

• Failure to follow instructions may result in removal without refund.

9. Firearms Clause

• Participants must have legal authority to handle firearms and will be asked to fill in a declaration.

• Participants must have legal authority to handle bows and archery equiptment.

• Unsafe behaviour or intoxication leads to immediate removal; no refund.

• Safety instructions must be followed at all times.

10. Alcohol and Drugs Policy

• Participants must not attend under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

• Breaches result in removal without refund.

11. Dogs

• Dogs are not allowed unless prior written agreement is obtained.

12. Weather

• Courses run in most conditions unless unsafe.

• Participants must bring suitable clothing and equipment.

13. Photography and Media

• Photos/videos may be used for promotion.

• Opt-out must be notified in advance.

14. Medical Conditions & Allergies

• Participants must disclose medical conditions or limitations.

• Severe allergies (e.g., nuts) must be reported in advance.

• Ensure physical capability for course activities.

15. Vehicles & Personal Equipment

• Phil Brooke accepts no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to vehicles or personal equipment.

• Participants use vehicles and equipment at their own risk.

16. Liability

• Participation is at the client’s own risk.

• Phil Brooke is not liable for injury, loss, or damage to personal property, equipment, or vehicles.

• Liability is only accepted for physical injury caused directly by negligence on the part of Phil Brooke’s instructors.

17. Cancellation by Us

• If Phil Brooke cancels a course, all payments will be refunded or transferred as a deposit to another course.

• Courses may be cancelled if minimum participant numbers are not met.

18. Complaints

• Complaints should be raised immediately during the course to allow corrective action.

• Written complaints not resolved during the course must be submitted within 28 days of course completion.

19. Travel Documents

• Participants are responsible for obtaining all necessary travel documents (passport, visas, permits, etc.) where applicable.

20. Force Majeure

• Phil Brooke is not responsible for cancellations due to events beyond reasonable control (weather, fire, flood, land access restrictions, etc.).
